Print Layout: “Printing à la Russe” Booklet
This booklet was conceptualized as a way to explain how the print process works to non-designers. It features a rundown on all the basics, including color, halftone dots, resolution, PDFs, linking/packaging, document setup, and finishes. It also includes a glossary of common printing terms. The book took on a French culinary theme in order to be more inviting and fun than simply presenting the information by itself. Each section of the booklet is separated into a different course of an “eight course meal” of print production. The original booklet measures 7.5 by 9 inches when closed.
